Day 152

Today, I walked through the backyard of our townhouse section.

Starting at the school bus stop, this is the tulip as it starts to die. Placing flowers at a bus stop, might be pretty, but useless if not watered.

Purple Azalea

I'm not sure what kind of flower this is, but it's in a pot with similar flowers, but in other colors.

Yellow Tulips

Purple flowers. Again, I don't know the name of these.

I love this beautiful two toned flower.

Light pink Azaleas

Yellow flowers

These Azaleas had various concentrations of pink. This one had the most.

Pink Dogwood

This camellia bush had large pink flowers on it. It's much taller than our light pink one.

Dying camellia bloom.

Red Azaleas

  1. Love the dying tulip. Dying flowers remind me of raku pottery-- celebrating the imperfections.

  2. What a wonderful comparison. Raku pottery is gorgeous.
