Day 410
Today, we went to the VMFA for Slow Art Day and to meet up with Noah and his parents. As we were about to leave, I noticed the rain falling on the windows. The top windows by the front exit have a circle grate on them. The raindrops were running along the grate. I love taking photos of the rain on windows, so this was a nice new way to view the rain.

Day 65
Today was Edgar Allan Poe's birthday party (he was actually born on Jan 19th, 1809 and died on October 7, 1849), so the RVA Freaks headed over to the Poe Museum of Richmond for the celebration. While someone was speaking about the history of Poe's friends' art at a tone I couldn't understand well (I have hearing loss), I wondered around the courtyard and took photos.

I like the fuzz on these buds.

This tree is behind the building for the bust of Poe. The ivy has climbed the tree, covering the trunk completely and up around some branches. I love seeing ivy do this. I grew up with lots of ivy covered trees.

These buds remind me of the ones on my Camellia bush, but aren't for a Camellia, as you will see in the three photos below.

Day 23
We went to the Children's Museum of Richmond today. There was an unusual flowering climbing vine along one section of the outdoor garden wall. It was a Blue Passion Flower.

Day 16
We went to the city to eat brunch and meet some friends at the Virginia Historical Society. The 1st two photos were taken on Main St. near Delux, where we had brunch. The 2nd two were taken beside the Virginia Historical Society on the way to the VMFA (Virginia Museum of Fine Arts).
