Day 149

I noticed a tree in the back yard with blooms of a green tint. Upon closer inspection, I discovered the tree is a Dogwood. The color is interesting, as it's a creamy green vs, the white flowers of the front yard tree.

  1. I really like the depth of field of the first picture. What lovely bokeh. Do you think the green tint is because the flowers are young and not open all the way yet?

  2. I should add that I took these from my balcony and that this tree is very large for a Dogwood. I really love how my camera focuses well on close objects and blurs the background. The green tint could be because they are young and not fully open. Or, it could be because the trees around it all have green leaves. It could be absorbing those colors, to the eye.
