I found more mushrooms growing around the grounds. From the temperature change and humidity, my camera lens fogged and unfogged while taking photos. This makes the mushrooms appear more magical.
After a light rain, the large cluster of mushrooms beside our house started rotting.
What a collection! And all in one day, wow. I love the first set best, I think. I heard a story recently that the dry summer followed by so much rain has led to a great mushroom season.
ReplyDeleteI've had a fun week looking for different kinds of mushrooms sprouting up. I never knew there were so many varieties that could grow here. I'm not sure if it's the dry summer followed by a lot of rain or something else. Someone mentioned the increase of spores could have been due to the tropical storm blowing them down. Either way, it's been a fun experience. Unfortunately the rotting ones are attracting insects and smell horrible! The edible ones are being eaten by animals.
