Today, we went to Busch Gardens. The butterflies and flowers were abundant.

Today, we went to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens to see the plants, and the new butterfly house.

Day 271

The dogwoods have started to grow buds. If you've forgotten, we have three Dogwood trees. Each tree has different colored blooms (white, light pink and dark pink). It's no surprise that the buds are also different shades.

The heat was so high, I waiting until late in the day to snap a few more photos of the garden, before getting ready for the party.

Today, I took more photos along the main path

This is a bloom from a tulip tree. If you count the ants carefully, you will count 5. I took this photo upside down, so the amount of ants is a total surprise to me.
