Vines from my neighbor's plants are pouring over the railing of her back porch.

The early morning sun was glittering through the trees. I took a lot of photos. I like the dark moodiness of these caused by the high contrast and blurred exposure caused by the intense sun light.

Day 279

Today, I watched for interesting things out of my living room window.

Seeing a butterfly is a rare treat. This Yellow Swallowtail stayed on the crape myrtle branch for a few minutes.

Later in the evening, I noticed two large spiders descend from my roof. There are lots of spider webs around the windows and on them. These two are definitely responsible for some large ones.

The bright dip in the clouds was actually pink.

I was working on making stock tonight, so I waiting until night to take photos. This is of the crape myrtle.

Day 277

The clouds were so beautiful today, they deserved a panoramic view. Panoramics are hard to take and sometimes have some striping in them. These are the best of the ones I took. I hurried on these, because I was standing in a lane in a parking lot and trying to avoid being hit by a car. Alex, while sitting on our car's back bumper, was my look out.

This morning, the large high windows were covered lightly with rain drops. The sun was pouring through the windows strong and high above the trees. The way the sun was back lighting the trees in combo with the many clouds, created a high contrast. The sky color variations are caused by the clouds. There is some shadowing. There is clear separations of foreground and background. The white dots in the 3rd photo are from the rain drops on the window. When I zoom and focus on something behind them, they will sometimes blur. All of this is naturally occurring, which is what makes these so interesting. They wouldn't be as exciting if I made them in Photoshop...which by the way, I couldn't figure out how to use for something like this.
