Day 354 - Halloween

Since today was Halloween and we had band practice, I only took photos of the mums on my front porch. The light was low, so this is the best one of that set.

Tonight the sky was clear and the moon was bright.

Today, we had rain and wind.

This leaf clung to our living room window with the rain drops.

While riding in the car, the rain drops rode with us.

The cold weather is setting in, but these hardly azaleas are still alive.

Though today was a beautiful warm day, the upper living room windows started out fogged.

I took my daughter to school today. On the way back to the car, I took photos of the beautiful sky and the tree in front of my car.

There is a tree with heart shaped leaves that by our entryway for our townhouse section. I noticed about half the leaves had turned yellow. Several of them had broken leaves. The opening created from the breakage make perfect windows to photograph through. The blurred areas are the trees across from this one.

The cloudy sky made the yellow leaves rich in color.

I noticed this tree in our neighborhood had turned bright yellow and was fading to brown.

We were headed to the airport to drop off our rental car. While stopped at a gas station, I took some photos of the sun setting. This was at about 6:30pm. It was dark by the time we got to our friends' house for dinner.

Today, the sun was shining through the yellow leaves of this tree, making them glow brightly. Later the sun glistened off the clouds, as it set for the evening.

The wind has been rapidly blowing down leaves and nuts.

My favorite thing to do when walking around, it to admire the beautiful fallen leaves. Since it's Autumn here, the colors are varied.

The tree leaves are slowing changing colors.

There have been a lot of nuts falling from the trees. They are scattered over the ground, much to the delight of the squirrels and chipmunks.

Today, we went to a pumpkin patch to buy pumpkins, gourds and a potted mum.

This pumpkin patch is located below large power lines. It doesn't make the pumpkins any larger...
