Day 201

This morning, the sunlight was glistening through the trees beside the living room window and casting shadows. My windows are coated with pollen, so the light refracts in the patterns the rain has pushed the pollen in.

Today, I stayed inside most of the day, working on quilts for the Skull Appreciation Day show. This insect stayed resting on my window for a while, so I took it's photo.

Today, I went to Shockoe Bottom for a baby shower. Afterwards, I took photos of the tree beside my car.

Today I went to the house of two close friends, to celebrate the birthday of one of them. Before starting to drink the Lambic that my husband bought for the lady of the house and I to share, I took some photos of a tree.

The ornamental cherry tree has lost all of it's petals. I chose it as my tree of the day.

Part of the tree has been dug out by ants.

This week, I am taking photos of trees. One tree a day, in an exploring way. This one was in the sidewalk of a movie theater.
